Yamaha Fascino Scooter Review 2016

Yamaha Motors India has lately introduced a new member in its Indian product portfolio. The product is named as Yamaha Fascino, a fascinating scooter being designed by the Japanese boffins. It carries a tagline along with it which says, “Fascinofy your world“. The scooter was launched on 7th May, 2015. The major attraction of the newly launched scooter is the cosmetic design. It can also be said as a perfect combination of Japanese performance over Italian makeover. The elegant retro style acquired by the scooter can be able to turn a number of heads while going on the road and the 3D badge of the “Fascino” will purely work as a top cherry over the cake.

Performance wise, the Yamaha Fascino is featuring a single-cylinder, SOHC, BS IV motor carrying an engine displacement of 113cc. The liquid-cooled motor is mated to a V-Belt Automatic transmission, which is tuned to fetch out a maximum power of 7 BHP @ 7500 revs and a peak torque of 8.1 Nm @ 5000 RPM revs. The manufacturer has installed its patented Yamaha Blue Core Technology in order to make it more fuel efficient. The company claims mileage of the scooter is 66 KMPL, carrying a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters.

The Yamaha Fascino is built around an Under-bone chassis, which is further accompanied by Telescopic front forks and unit swing-arm at the rear. The stopping power has been taken care by drum brakes at both front and rear. Cosmetically, the Yamaha Fascino has gone through a little bit of chrome styling in the rear view mirrors and the bodywork. The attractively designed instrument panel flaunts its gorgeousness with the white background. The newly fabricated headlamp and its cowl have the elegance in the designing of the scooter.

Initially, the firm is offering a wide range of paint scheme for the Yamaha Fascino, which comprises of Blending Blue, Fusion Red, Unite White, Mingling Cyan, Haute White and Sassy Cyan. The Yamaha Fascino is making its appearance in the Indian two-wheeler industry carrying an affordable price tag of Rs 55,015 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
