Ducati Multistrada 1200 Review
The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 was showcased at the EICMA show that was held in Milan. It is the most advanced touring motorcycle in Ducati’s line-up which is featured with an excellent graphics, body design and windshield. The motorcycle has some stunning features as selectable engine mapping, throttle by wire and the Ducati traction control system that are specially used to increase the riding performance. The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 is featured with LED headlights with parking lights.
The motorcycle gives a convenience of four bikes in a one such as it comes equipped with a four riding modes i.e. Enduro, Urban, Sports and Touring, which can be selected manually according to your need. Thus, it has a five inch TFT display that gives exact information about the riding modes as well as showing speed, low fuel warning, fuel consumption and speed.
The Multistrada 1200 is powered by an 1198.4cc, Testastretta 11 degree L-Twin and liquid-cooled engine that delivers an incomparable combination of breathtaking power and torque. Such as, it delivers 150 BHP power at 9250 RPM and 124.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 RPM. Thus, the power delivery system is very smooth and responsive; thanks to the ride-by-wire electronic throttle response. Furthermore, the engine offers four engine power modes, i.e. Enduro, Urban, Sports and Touring, and it offers excellent ride quality in every mode.
It comes with a fully adjustable suspension, such as it has front USD forks and rear spring pre-load suspension which is standard for every type of ride. Thus, the handling and ride quality is excellent, such as it has large handlebar, long wheelbase and split seat.
