TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS Review
The first Apache was introduced in 2007, after that the company has introduced its top model. Currently, the Apache Series include four variants named, Apache RTR 160 Hyper edge, Apache RTR 180, Apache RTR 180 ABS and the last one is Apache RTR 200 4V. All the variants are inspired by the Racing series of the Apache. The RTR stands for Racing Throttle Response, which has been designed for racing approach. The RTR 180 is the only motorcycle which is featured with an Anti-lock braking system, this variant is only available in five color options Black, White, Gray Matte, Matte Black and Matte Blue edition.
The Apache RTR 180 is an excellent motorcycle for those who are looking for a fast performance motorcycle with an affordable price. The Apache RTR 180 features a 177.4cc four-stroke, single cylinder, BS IV engine which produces 17.3 BHP of Power at 8,500 RPM and makes 15.5NM of torque at 6,500 RPM. All the power sent to the ground via a five speed gearbox. The motorcycle has excellent throttle response such as it gives 0-60 KM/H in just 4.7 seconds and 0-100 KM/H in just 12.07 seconds. Furthermore, the top speed of this motorcycle has been noted at 124 KMPH. The motor returns decent mileage of 54 KMPL on the open road and 45 KMPL in the city street.The motorcycle is packed with standard safety equipments that has never seen in the other bike in this category. The Apache 180 is featured with ABS technology that makes it more capable of controlling the bike at the high speed under the sudden braking. Thus, the motorcycle gets an advanced headlight that gives sharp vision at the darken place even in all weather. The suspension duties are performed front telescopic forks at the front and Monotube Inverted Gas Filled Shox at rear.
